We have a legislator here in Iowa who is a hunter who doubts the many
studies of the impact of lead shot. He said, more or less, that one may
bite a lead shot or even swallow one and he went on to say that it just
harmlessly passes on through. So I
talked back to the radio and said; Ya, passing through but taking time
to peculate in the stomach so it can pass into the intestine so the
intestine can absorb the nutrients from the contents of the stomach such
as food and the lead shot, would that be a situation of lead poisoning?
